Made it out to the Zombie show over the weekend with the rest of The Rock crew!
It had been a few years since I had a chance to see him and was not sure what to expect.
Not lyeing when I tell you it was one of the best show I have seen in a long time.
Zombie pulled the crowd in so well with his between song schtic, sing alongs, and he sounded killer.
From the theme to House to the rarley head live Scum Of The Earth and the Manson Sweet Dreams re-do during Thunderkiss.
With all of the stuff he has been going through with changeing record companies I am sure that he will be back when Hellbilly 2 come out.
Make sure you are in the crowd that time!
You will walk out ready for more!
See you there!

Ps. Yes Jake did scream like a little girl through the whole show!

no shave november
Well, well, well, it has been a busy week since we last talked.
Larry Johnson got booted from the Chiefs (in my opinion it was about time).
Not that I am a huge sports talker kind of guy but it seems to me that since he got the big check he has really not been worth much to the city and has had a really bad rockstar attitude.
I say that since we are building a team its time to use that cash on some young up and comers!
Enough about that.
Congrats to all you Rockaholics that scored all the tickets to Twisted Christmas.
It is going to be a hell of a show and for those of you that did not get them in time keep listening!
Better get back to it.
About to give out another Harley key.
Good luck!
M

Ps. No shave November is going quite well.
Now I just have to make sure a rare bird does not make it a home!

With the beautiful weather we’ve been having, we figured it was time for another installment of 100 Mile Radius!

So, basically, there are a million different ways to get to Topeka. We decided to take the beautiful route on 32 and hook up with Highway 24, and ride that into the capitol city. Turn right on N Kansas Avenue, and look for the big, beautiful red building on your left (it used to be a brothel!), and roll into the awesome biker bar, Kickstart Saloon.

Well, we are nearing the month of November once again.
What does that mean other than lots of Christmas stuff?
NO SHAVE NOVEMBER!
Yep, last year a few guys started it here around the station and I figured what the hell.
Ill give it a shot.
Ended up with a fairly nice beard out of it!
Why in the world ‘am I telling you about this?
Not really sure but I figured over the next few weeks I would share my progress.
So gentleman lets do this!
Put the razors down for a month and see what happens.
Just don’t let a endangered bird set up camp.
I think we all know that ends up bad!

Alright, F ‘Em Up Chuck and I hit the road, this time, to the beautiful town of Atchison, Kansas.

We took 435 south to MO-45. After about 9 miles, you hit MO-45 Spur that crosses the railroad tracks, take that toward Leavenworth, and just stay on it as it turns into the Amelia Earhart Memorial Highway. That’ll cruise you past a big Wal-Mart and into Atchison. Go through the first stop light (when it’s green of course!), cross the railroad tracks, and at the next stop light turn right on Main Street. Take Main Street all the way to 2nd Street, turn left (North), and look for Mueller’s Locker Room on the east side of the street! If you hit Commercial Street, you’ve gone too far, but you can turn right on it and  check out the beautiful Riverfront Park!

Well it is coming up fast.
One of my top 3 holidays all year.
What you may ask…. Christmas, my birthday and yes Halloween!
What other time of year can you dress up, eat candy, pull pranks on friends without getting those strange looks. (as a grown up)
So….what direction ‘am I going with this?
Freakers Ball on the 24 at the Midland.
I know you have plans to make it out to at least one Halloween party this year but make time to hit ours up to!
This year we have a hell of a line up for you. Killswitch, Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, Shadows Fall, Two Cents, and our Club Wars winner Changing Faith!
Plus its the stuff between the bands that makes this more than just a great show!
Fire eaters, sword swallowers, and how can we forget the $1,000 costume contest!
I have seen so many killer costumes at the show that I cant even tell you what to expect…But I can almost guarantee a few school girl costumes!
Need I say more…Didn’t think so!
Get your ticket fast.
As of yesterday there were less than 300 left.
I cant wait!
See you at the show!

So I am almost recovered from a weekend at the track.
What a weekend it was!
I know there are some of you that don’t get the whole NASCAR thing but if you are even on the fence about it you really should get out to the speedway just to get the whole experience.
Started out Saturday morning with the tailgate….Way to early but how can you go wrong with beer and eggs.
Went up to check out all of the vendors.
If they can put a number on it they can sell it.
Back to the tailgate for some burgers, brats, and more beer.
Then it was time for the Nationwide race.
Now here is the trick that I will share with you about not getting road rage trying to get out.
Save some food for the 3rd tailgate of the day.
When everyone else is waiting to get out…fire up the grill again and relax!
Sunday I had to work but made it out just in time to see Biff (my driver) loose the lead to Tony (my girls diver) but still had a blast.
Seeing how I will not be denied my tailgate time when the race was over we fired up the grill on final time.
All in all race weekend in Kansas City is right up there with Rockfest to me.
Next year head out to the Kansas Speedway and see what you think for yourself!
Till next time!

Here it is…The first, official 100 Mile Radius video! This time, we’re going to Warrensburg, Missouri to one of the best BBQ joints within 100 miles of Kansas City. Got an idea for 100 Mile Radius? Email me!

Basically, you need to find your way to Highway 50. We took 435 to 470 which then dumps us onto Highway 50. Take that all the way to 13, and head south! Cruise through town, pass Central Missouri State University, and just as the road turns a little, you’re gonna find the little joint that serves some killer BBQ, Perry Foster’s!

What a day!
15th annual March of Dimes Bikers For Babies was kick ass.
Once again you out did yourselves!
We had over 6,000 riders and raised over $660,000.
Thank you so much for coming out and helping to save some lives.
And yes you did do that.
I have to admit it take a bit for me to get choked up but there were many moments along the way that I would look ahead and behind me and see nothing but motorcycle lights and I knew that we were all out there for the same reason.
Going through the intersections that were being blocked off for us and getting the thumbs up, seeing everyone wave along the way, the support signs, and the kids and adults looking in awe as we rolled by.
It made me feel very proud.
If you were there you know what I am talking about.
If you could not make it this year come out next year.
I guarantee you will end the day with a great feeling in your heart!
Thank you very much Kansas City for all you do.
This is the best city in the country without a doubt.

Here we go.
Less than a week away from the best ride you can take all summer.
Yup, it is almost time for the 15th annual March Of Dimes Bikers For Babies run.
It is really hard for me to put into words how great this ride is.
I have been to all but a few and to see how it has grown is just amazing.
We have been through all types of weather from sunny and hot to sleet but the spirit of the ride way overcomes whatever conditions we are looking at.
For the long time riders I would like to thank you very much and for you first timers…Welcome to the best ride of your life and the first of many.
I would suggest that you make it out for one of the last few pre-reg that we have.
Gets a little busy out there the day of.
Just check the main page for the details on that.
All bikes are welcome!
Hope to see you out there on Sunday!
